Born in Keningau and raised all over Sabah (moving from Tambunan, Kota Belud, Kota Marudu, Kudat, Sandakan & Lahad Datu), Febe obtained her Bachelors in Law & Commerce from Management and Science University. Her first work experience was in a law firm under the conveyancing department, which was followed by a brief experience with LexisNexis Malaysia as a Legal Editor. Here, she got the opportunity to take part in LexisNexis’s Rule of Law initiative, which at the time was to collaborate with PACOS Trust and also government bodies focusing mainly on statelessness in Sabah. From then on, her interest on issues in Sabah grew and during a short stop in Labuan (for another job), she started to seriously look for NGOs in Sabah to join which, in turn, led her to Forever Sabah.
