Elly Lajitin hails from Kampung Penulangon in Ranau. In 2010, he began his career as a forest ranger with TSH Resources at Forest Management Unit 4.In 2021, Elly joined the ranger team at FMU 5 Kg Penulangon under the auspicesof Forever Sabah, holding the position of ranger. The purpose and goal of joining the ranger team are to gain experience, learn new things, and ensure the preservation of the forest and its treasure trove assets from being encroached upon by irresponsible parties, especially in the context of orangutan poaching.
