Syahrir or "Chalok", as affectionately nicknamed by the villagers, has a robust background in ecological research and climate change mitigation, having graduated from UMS with a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Forest Plantation and Agroforestry in 2018, followed by a Master in Science Forestry in 2023. His expertise encompasses field expeditions, advanced lab analyses, and co-authoring impactful research. Dedicated to community outreach, he actively organize events to raise awareness. As a researcher, he actively welcomes collaborative discussions and encourages others to connect for a fruitful engagement in shared areas of interest.
